I am an artist with a passion for hats. The drama of headpieces has fascinated me since I was a child when I used to dress up to create a ‘look’. Texture, colour and form offer endless opportunities to explore. I love to think outside the box and make hats that evoke anemotional connection for a wearer. Yes, they are one of a kind. Using quality products and cutting edge materials my hats are strong and last well. They are timeless and add to your wardrobe both now and in the future.
I was first taught to sew and crochet by her grandmothers and later studied with top designers in London.
Over the years I have travelled the world, on business and for pleasure. This has given me a chance to connect with different people, to experience new cultures and to look at traditional styles. The details of the tapestries, pictures and sculpture have all played a part in my extensive textile experience.
More recently, I have filed a patent for a new, extraordinary hat, called an O Hat. The O Hat is something completely new. It has endless style formations. Every time it is worn, it is a new design. It comes in Jersey, Bamboo, Silk and Wool. The Jersey and Bamboo O Hats are for casual wear, they are great for the outdoors as they will keep your ears warm. Furthermore, people with hair loss can keep their heads warm. One, two or three O hats can be worn at the same time. They also work for that ’bad hair’ day too.
